Quickie: Optimism
I came across what I thought was a purely fluff article about “The Four Secrets Of Optimism” and I was actually surprised by the very last thing they said:
Change Negative Self-Talk. It’s way too easy to think the same negative thoughts over and over again. However, you can learn to change this by doing some cognitive-behavioral therapy on yourself. When you notice yourself having a negative thought about yourself, replace it with a positive one. If you find yourself  thinking “It’s all my fault†or “I’m not good enough,†stop and remind yourself of how well you’ve been coping and how others appreciate you.
Woo Hoo! I love all of that! I also love when something I deeply believe gets confirmed or I dunno, validated, in the mainsteam. I mean, this isn’t some secret band or cult movie or something, I want the world to know, don’t you?!
Anyway, thought I’d share that with y’all. I certainly need some optimism lately. I seem to be plum out! Ha-ha! Never out of humor though. <3
